Horse Breeding
The most wonderful thing that a horse lover can ever experience is the birth of a foal.
Worrying for days whether everything will go well. Keeping watch beside the mother-to-be for nights on end.
And then suddenly it’s there-wet and shivering in the soft straw. It doesn’t take long for the foal to try to stand on its own legs and just a little later it looks for warm milk from its mum.
This tender little foal also has to be vaccinated early on. But after just a few days, when the first rays of sunshine touch its soft fur, all of the strain of the first few days are soon forgotten.
But a healthy foal doesn’t just happen, because the foal should not just be healthy.
Its exterior, its sporting qualities, its character, its pedigree and excellent gaits are becoming increasingly important.
