Children from age 6 to jumping / dressage license. Of course, we also teach at higher levels.
Every year we offer the “Riding Brevet” course, and a summer camp for children.

Prices range between 45.- and 120.- CHF / lesson

Lessons, from child to adult

Lunge lessons
Because safety is our primary goal, riding students begin with lunge lessons, where the coach keeps the horse on a long leash, and runs it in a circle. Our first aim here is for the beginner to learn to trust the horse and riding instructor. Another goal, of course, is for the rider to achieve the best basic equestrian skills at the walk, trot and canter under the safest conditions.

Group or Individual lessons
Next, beginners ride without a lunge line, or “free”. Here, the first schooling figures are learned and riding skills in all three gates are strengthened. Depending on the rider’s wishes, small group or private lessons can be taken.

Advanced Riding Lessons
The student has the opportunity to pursue further improvement in dressage and jumping, to complete the “Brevet” test, and afterward even pursue professional equestrian credentials. Riding classes take place in either the indoor arena or the outside ring. We also offer guided trial rides to learn to handle the horse in open country.

Dressage lessons

The riding lessons are individually tailored to the current level of the rider and the level of training of the horse. The rider is taught the correct posture and effective aids. We strive to give our riding students a good, basic education.

Particular emphasis in this class is given to balance, suppleness, and improving the rhythm of the rider. Advanced riders achieve success through diversity and a variation of exercises and lessons. The balance and serenity of both rider and horse is refined and achieved trough various lessons to the highest level of difficulty! Again, we want to give our riding students a good basic education.

Jumping Lessons

We offer numerous jumping lessons for everyone. We have great school horses that simplify learning to jump. Some of our school horses have competed earlier in the higher competitions, either jumping up to the 1.30m level or over high eventing obstacles.

We also offer gymnastic riding lessons each week for young and old who would also like to do some smaller jumps. Outside riders with their own horses are also most welcome.

Quality is important to us

Correct seating and fine skills are our goal. We teach our students to be in balance and harmony with the horse! Sensitive body work is learned, as the rider brings the horse’s centre of gravity into line by properly sitting in the middle of its body.
